Georgia Bracey

georgia-braceyGeorgia Bracey is a Research Associate in the STEM Center at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.  She has a BA in Elementary Education, and spent 13 years teaching in the Chicago suburbs where her love of sharing astronomy and the outdoors with her students and other teachers developed into a passion for science education.  In 2009, she received her MS in Physics from SIUE with a concentration in Physics Education Research, and she is now a doctoral candidate in Education at the University of Missouri St. Louis.  Her research interests include citizen science, the intersection of formal and informal science education, and the integration of technology into the classroom.
