Katie Stringer, Ph.D. Director of Research, McREL International. Dr. Stringer is responsible for leading research and evaluation projects, which includes their design, implementation, and reporting. She also leads proposal development. She is the co-director of the IBM Journey i3 development grant awarded in 2016 and is lead evaluator on the SEED NW BOCES i3 grant awarded in 2015 and the CosmoQuest NASA CAN awarded in 2015.
She holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University. Her professional interests include youth and professional identity and career development and motivation for STEM. Dr. Stringer’s work has been published in Developmental Psychology and the Journal of Vocational Behavior.
